As we've seen over the last year, depression is more common than we are normally aware of. It hits many of us at different points of our lives, and is often related to our inability to process stress well.
If you're ready to get help with your depression then you’re making an excellent decision. It’s especially hard to battle through depression on your own and isolation will exacerbate it.
Oftentimes, I find that being active and proactive, no matter how challenging, is a huge part of the path out. Also, finding or creating a hobby that connects you with others, and helps relieve stress, can be invaluable in preventing depression in the first place.
